Students need access to early literacy as much as they need access to love.

What Dr. Kimberly McLeod Believes

  • Education policy should support providing communities with an emerging set of graduates that are enabled to contribute to the social, economic and cultural landscape.

  • Education should be inclusive. Everyone should have a seat at a table of equity and be fed exactly what they need.

  • Regardless of gender, income, zip code, physical differences, learning differences or any other imaginable barrier, education is a civil right for all.

  • Teachers and school leaders should be empowered through policy to create opportunities for engagement, and optimal teaching and learning success.

  • Businesses should have the opportunity to partner with school communities to create a workforce that builds economic, social and cultural access that maximizes collective impact.
